Scammer posing as Scotty

Greetings, Mr  Scotty Kilmer:

My name is Nabil Abdulghani, MD, from NYC. I recently posted an observation about one of your YouTube videos. I was simply concerned with a spot under your right middle finger. i believe the video was about  the poor aging of BMW plastic and leather, and that they are "money pits."

It appears someone has assumed your youtube persona, and managed to ask me to contact them via "telegram," which I did. Ultimately, the person was trying to ask me, a fan, for money to be sent help($80 USD). i immediately confronted and called out the fraud.

I have attached the full Telegram Relationship over several days.  You seem to have a fairly sophisticated fraud pretending to be you and then soliciting money. The frauds use of English and his syntax did seem poor compared to your fluency  in all your public speaking.

I am available to provide any authorities with interaction, in person. I hope you can avoid any large scale fraud, and  maintain your business and reputation

Truly,

Nabil

I now see i can't attach the copy of said conversation. I can email it to you, fax it to you and any authorities.

You're warning people about fraud, so you decided to post your full name, location and email address publicly on the internet??

If you had searched the board you would have found that this is nothing new, and it's an ongoing problem for a number of popular youtube channels. They are pretty obvious scams and I've even had some fun messing around with the scammers.

Your posting of personal contact information publicly just invites more scammers into your life and has been deleted. (No one from this site will contact you.)
