Hey Scotty! I Need to replace the front struts for my 2002 Camry 2.4L. I digged for some prices for both struts at my local Auto parts stores and need your opinion on the brands:
1. KYB > $340 total
2. Sensen > $410
3. Monroe > $400
4. Monroe RoadMatic > $400
5. Carquest (AdvancedAuto Brand) > $400

Get KYBs or OEM struts. Scotty used to like Monroe, but their quality went way down. I just put KYB shocks in my 43 year old Pontiac a few weeks ago, replacing the originals. They're great.
I have Monroe shocks on my Ranger, I bought them before I knew Scotty didn't care for the brand. I bought their heavy duty model, after 2 years and numerous potholes, they're still fine. It rides stiff when the bed is empty, but it's a truck.
