I got a manual 1994 celica st a few weeks ago and the fuel gauge just sits below empty, could you give me some advice on how i could go about fixing it. Im not too experienced with this type of thing.

Perhaps the Fuel Tank Sending Unit has gone bad.

From Toyota's website (linked above): "A failed or malfunctioning fuel level sender can cause the gas gauge in your 1994 Toyota Celica to be inaccurate or read empty or E despite the fuel level."
