Hello I recently got a 2005 ford focus I have a 2018 Ford fiesta also the 2005 Ford focus waste more gas than the 2018 fiesta . The fuel gauge does not fill up all the way when I pump gas the gas pump clicks and it fills up to the second to last line I drive 28 miles going to work and 28 miles going home and the Ford focus waste almost 3/4 of gas well my Ford fiesta the needle barely goes down how would I fix the fuel gauge so when I pump gas the needle goes all the way up and why does my Ford focus have so bad gas mileage
Typically fueling problems have to do with the evap system. Have you actually measured the gas mileage? You can't judge it accurately by the fuel gauge. (The short answer as to why you're having problems with the Focus is that it's a 19-year-old Ford.)
