Fuel injector clean

Hey Scotty,

What do you usually charge for a injector cleaning on the machine you use? Also do you have the ability to do so while you're up north or only in Tennessee? I'm in ct & have yet to find a shop which is remotely honest when doing jobs I don't have the tools to do on my own.

I have a 2003 F250 5.4 with 165,XXX & while changing the plugs after getting a misfire/lean code on 8, I noticed that all cylinders were a light brown except number 8 which was black & missing most of the electrode, leading me to believe it's either a sticky injector or bad valve seals.

I only put about 1,000 miles a year on my vehicles so trying to replicate what the previous owner did would probably take a year if not longer. Figured I go the easier route of cleaning first which it needs anyways having the factory injectors still before I pull the valve covers.

Thanks!

Try a can of Berryman B-12 in about 12 gals of gas. It may help out.
