Cold engine needs a lot of cranking after replacing diesel injector

Hi

I have a 2012 Kia Sorento diesel 4 cyl 2.2L, odometer 682,000 km on original engine.

Recently the engine was rough idling and noisy injector number 1. I replaced injector 1 with 2nd hand injector from the wreckers. Car is driving very smoothly now.

Only issue is, in the morning when I switch on the car after it was off whole night. The car takes 5 or 7 seconds to switch on and cranks for that whole time. Someone said I might have to reprogram my injector? I don't know how to reprogram. Is there a way to reset and let it auto calibrate? Is there a DIY scanner or tool I can use to adjust the new injector so it works correctly with my car?

The car is super smooth now and no issues with injector. Only issue is it takes 5 to 7 seconds to crank and start, especially when it's cold in the morning.

It sounds like the fuel lines might be losing pressure as it sits overnight. Then in the morning the high pressure fuel pump takes a new seconds to build back up pressure in the fuel lines again.

Since this only started happening after replacing one of the fuel injectors. I would suspect either a seal around the injector is maybe leaking or the injector itself is maybe leaking inside the cylinder.
