fuel pump priming

I have a 2023 ford mustang gt with 2100 miles.  When you open the door there is a noise that is apparently the fuel pump priming.  I understand that this is normal but mine also does this 30 min after shutting it off and at seemingly random times even when it hasn't been driven for over a day.  It does this even when the key fob is not near the car.  Is this normal?

it's a 2023 take it back to the dealer should be under warranty.

You have a bumper-to-bumper warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles. By all means, take it to the dealer. You have nothing to lose, when it's under warranty, except your time if they don't see anything wrong.

that could be your EVAP system equalizing tank pressure

I've never noticed that much of a "hiss," or "hum", if I might call it that. We got in my girlfriend's Mustang, also a 2017 with GDI earlier today. One must push on the brakes before the fuel pump activates. They're the same generation, just upgraded SN550s I believe.

Most likely not. You might check your owner's manual to be sure? In my 2017 Mustang, you don't hear the fuel pump activate until you press on the brake to start the car, I'm pretty sure. You may have an electrical short somewhere. The fact it does that without a key fob present points toward there being a possibility of a short.
