Gday Scotty. i have recently brought a 2004 Camry v6 , 198.000 klm on the speedo, after watching your video on mass sensor cleaning and throttle cleaning and how yo change the oil and transmission filter , including air filter . Is there any thing else i can do to improve gas mileage that wont break the bank. And may i add watching you you tubes has saved me hundreds on dollars, your a top bloke for wanting to help others ive learnt a lot and teaching my son via your clips. Cheers mate
G’day mate, I’d start with the basics.
You’ve already changed the air filter & cleaned the sensors. Next check the spark plugs & change them if they’re worn out. Check your cold tyre pressures & if low, fill them up with air to the recommended psi first thing in the morning.
If you have an OBD2 reader, scan for any codes & check live data to see if your engine is running rich.
Also make sure your transmission is shifting correctly & is in the highest gear when you’re cruising on the highway.
