Hi Scotty, what do you think of Geely Cars(China)?
Does Geely really uses Volvo Technology nowadays especially those mild hybrid system and are they really reliable?
Specifically those 1.5 Liter Engine 3 Cylinder Turbocharged Cars w/ 48V Mild Hybrid System.
Geely and reliability?

Bad to worse.
The days of million mile Volvos is long gone. They are more interested in buffing their environmental cred than building a dependable car.
And companies don’t build products in China because they want quality, it’s to save $. Not that you can’t get good products from China, but you also get melamine in your dog food.

Sadly, I think it’s both
Find a 2007 or older Volvo with low miles. Owned several pre 2007 and loved them even though they required constant care and yes they were built like tanks. Post 2007 I would not consider personally.
