Scotty I have a really loud knock
Coming from the top of my engine where
The cams are. Took it to my mechanic who
Ssaid something broke and fell into the engine
And I'm going to need a whole new engine
Bbut he didn't even tear the car down to
See what was wrong. Does this sound right??
It's a 2014 Hyundai genesis coupe 2.0T

it's not out of the question. Hard to tell through the internet.
If you don't like the diagnosis then get a second opinion.
