I have a 09 gmc Acadia I'm having problems with the dashboard saying the hood is open i changed the sensor it's still saying if I discounted the battery for like 10 mins to rest the computer and it still the same everything is plugged in right is there a fuse? I shut the hood multiple times and still the same anyhelp?

you could have a faulty wiring harness. Grab a schematic and test wires for continuity.
