I have a 2019 GMC sierra with the new fancy tailgate. The inner tailgate unlocks when I press the button, but doesn't fold down anymore so I have to pull on it. I tried to grease the latches with white lithium grease but didn't see any improvement. Is there another simple fix for this or is it more complicated with the electronic lock/unlock mechanism. If anyone has experience with an electric push-button tailgate I'd appreciate any advice.

That cars is so new your going to better off calling a local dealer and seeing what they recommend because I doubt anyone on here has a lot of experience with those yet.
