Should I get a 2004 Honda Accord coupe EX V-6 6 speed for $3999 with 164450 miles from a used car dealer as a car to learn stick shift?
Tell salesman if he teaches you to drive a shift then you might buy the car. Might get to learn how to drive a shift and test drive the car you think you will like.

I would agree. In my opinion, learning stick shift in a small 4 cylinder car is easier than, say, a V8 engine. Generally, the bigger the engine gets the "heaver" the clutch gets (harder to engage due to the increased pressure needed for the clutch not to slip on more powerful engines). But you already know how to drive right? Because if you already know how to drive, all you're really learning is HOW to operate the transmission. No matter what, you're gonna have fun learning!
Sounds perfect. I’ll let others chime in in the price.
I have a 1999 4cyl manual Accord. I still drive it to this day with 270K miles.
Clutch isn’t too stiff. Shifting is easy to find the gears.
FYI, my clutch pedal went out around 210K. Not the clutch itself. But something attached to the pedal, that where the clutch pedal wouldn’t come back up.
I recommend factoring that into your price consideration. The fix wasn’t too expensive. But totally surprised me.
