Hi Scotty love you channel I’m buying a 2022 Camry TRD I’ve seen all your videos on it and I’ve seen that you stress a lot to buy Toyota from Japan. I just checked mines being made in Kentucky any concerns from that. Also I am in the Lewiston area and heard in a video you are from there. Do you know any good mechanics that work on Toyotas as I’m not of a fan of the dealerships.
thank you ,

It should be Ok. If there was an option that you could buy one that was made in Japan, that would be better. About the mechanics, check the FAQ:

That Kentucky plant has been producing Toyota Camry’s for a long time, since at least 1989. It’s also Toyota’s largest manufacturing facility in the world. While it’s ideal to get a Toyota made in Japan, those Camry’s still tend to be the most reliable of all the sedans in the market so I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. Also, it’s not like they all of a sudden started producing them in a new facility in a different country - sometimes there’s growing pains with doing that.

My 2020 Camry TRD was made in Kentucky. 21k miles in, no issues to report on it.
I wouldn't be concerned about it being made in Kentucky; it's still Toyota quality and Toyota is making it so it would be up to the standards of Toyota.
