Hello
I have a 2007 Corolla s 135k miles automatic Has a small evaporator leak. Changed gas cap and nothing. Mechanic put smoke machine, and couldn’t find it.
it also has a problem that sometimes it’s hard to start. cranks several times to start, but not always.
mechanic pressure tested fuel pump, and changed filter.
what could it be?

EVAP = Evaporative Emission Control System
The "evaporator" is part of the air conditioning system.
If you have a diagnostic fault, please post the whole thing.

It’s P0456.
Would that make it hard to start?
depends. What does it mean? It looks like a jumble of letters and numbers.
