Heat not working

Hello, I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse with 99k miles and today I started my car up and turned on the heat but it never warmed up. My A/C is still ice cold and the fan speeds still change but my heat would not warm up. It was just blowing outside temperature air. I used it a couple of days ago and it worked fine.
About a month ago I changed the coolant and had no issues with the heat and the coolant is not leaking. However I recently had my local mechanic fix a PCV valve but it did not effect the heat.
If it was the heater core would it just go out without any symptoms? Or could it be another issue at hand?

why can't you touch them?

I can hear a thud when I change my climate control switch

The temperature blend door is controlled by the temperature dial

Also my coolant is fine everywhere even the radiator

the heater core is separate from the radiator

You said you changed your coolant.  Did you properly bleed the air out of the system?

see if the heater core hoses are hot. it might be a temperature blend door issue though.

See FAQ for more info.

My heater core hoses are behind my intake manifold so I cannot safely tough them while it is hot. It is a very small space. I can hear a thud when I change my climate control switch from heat to ac so I think the blend doors are working fine. Also my coolant is fine everywhere even the radiator
