[Solved] Heater core hoses, etc.

I have a 2007 Ford Ranger 4.0 and I was getting new hoses for the cooling system. They don’t look bad, but I drive alot of miles and I don’t want to take a chance. But how important is it that I change the hoses out? 14 years/115,000 miles, which seems like time to change them. But they don’t look bad. I was looking at the assembly (not just 2 simple heater core hoses, like in the old days) including the heater core hoses and some extra chachkies attached (see link). Should this be changed at this time, even if it looks ok? Seems like the new rubber of this century is longer lasting than the older stuff. I changed my serpentine belt at about 11 years old and it had no cracks and only very minor wear. https://www.carid.com/motorcraft/hvac-heater-hose-assembly-mpn-kh180.html?view=818329&gclid=Cj0KCQiAv6yCBhCLARIsABqJTjZpbqJwErslxa8wPhP6slxtn01gEv7yIml2VuB7BhORQWwZzzUAPTcaAuznEALw_wcB

If your hoses look fine then just leave them alone. I don't think I've ever changed a rubber hose. Only a plastic vacuum tube that became brittle from heat.

I just don’t want any of them to burst.

Modern hoses seem to last forever, definitely longer than they used to. I remember Scotty mentioning that recently. I think you should do what gives you peace of mind. I see that the heater hose assembly is rather ridiculously priced, but amortized over 14 years I guess I could live with it.
