hello scotty! i need to replace my clutch on a complicated vehicle in my opinion at the moment i have nothing to fix it what would i need to lift the car high up an reach the transmission its a 3281 2008 sedan 4 door for mor hoes, but what would be the best tool set ext and my battery is also not turning on because im sure it would power with only a clutch problem should i get a complete new one or recharge it or jump start what would be the best decision for my position

Doing this in your driveway....well...how experienced are you with BMW's? I ask because as someone who deals in them all the time, basically if you're not a BMW-cert tech I wouldn't recommend this job. Those cars are NOT Chevys or Fords...it is an intricate procedure that requires specialized tools. You'll need a lot more than jack stands and a socket set. 

There is a reason it is a costly job and this is a case where I would recommend having a professional do the job. German cars are a different animal. If you haven't worked on one before, this is not a job you want to take on as a first experience. And I'm all for DIY.

not sure on milage havnt checked in a while and my brother passed it on to me because of the problem has accorded before an dosent want to deal wit it an keys wont start the car even if i brake or gass

If you inspect the battery you, they usually have the year it was made on it.

When was the last time the car was driven?
