My friends Dodge van doors won’t open or anything anymore they went on a trip and the window and doors started opening and closing on there own and they tied the doors closed but  it broke the straps and they had to drive home with the doors open They had to stop 20 times on the way home. They had to get a tool to unlock the door latch to close the doors in the front they wouldn’t close and now the doors are locked and can’t Opened with the key fob. he uses the van with his wheelchair and has to stay home now until the dodge dealer can look at it. one mechanic said they can’t use their diagnostic tool and to go to a dealer and won’t help . The dealer can’t see him until the 12th anything they can do to fix it?

Try getting the current key FOB away from the van and using the spare key FOB

You could try finding a different mechanic more familiar with the way those doors operate. Since wheelchair vans are typically converted by a 3rd party from the stock versions, you might try contacting that company for recommendations since the door controls may be modified.

You didn't say how old the van is but the dealer should be avoided at all possible for repairs and maintenance of vehicles out of warranty.
