i would change the fluid since the change interval is around 60k miles for a toyota.

I know some people are worried about how long cvt transmission would last, but I think Toyota makes good cvt. My mechanic says change the transmission fluid every 30k miles to make them last longer. I think if you take care of it it would last.

Even the best ones are still weaker than automatics. Like another person said change the fluid every 30 to 40 thousand miles and baby it and you should get a long life out of it.
