hello

i have an automatic 2015 honda civic lx and i got into an accident in december where i hydroplaned and hit a curb in front of me while turning left and messed up my passenger lower control arm and rim at the time. I have since switched the old wheels out and replaced the control arm and it still needs a bit of an alignment but the car feels like it’s not shifting up in gears. I later noticed my transmission had been top less ! I’ve only had my transmission fluid service once and it was 2 years ago. I had never noticed this issue before and added some transmission fluid since i have no clue why it wouldn’t be shifting up in gears, i don’t have a scanning tool that reads transmission codes but what should i do! I’m super worried and this was my daily work car and i’ve been forced to drive my bmw which is not nice on gas. Please if u can reach out with any advice it would be much appreciated.
