Hey Scotty I was wondering is a 2015 mustang v6 automatic with 86,000 miles still worth it ? I wanna use it for daily driving, is a good car to depend on ? How long can it last me ? If so, so I can buy it

For sure pass. Ford quality is awful and that was the very first year of the new body style.

If you want a reliable V6 Mustang, the 2011 - 2014 cars were solid with the 3.7L V6. If you would prefer V8 power, 2005 - 2010 GT's would be the best bet. But the new body style Mustangs? No way. Save your money and your sanity.

well it depends on how the previous owner maintained it and drove it since it's a v6 they probably didn't beat it like guys do with V8 mustangs and they're all worn out by the time you buy them used.so if a mechanic like myself can check it out for you and says it's a good car yeah it could last quite some time

Yeah, at least Scotty can keep an open mind and doesn't always say Camry, but I have to say it sounds like you should get a 2014 because of the issues with the newer model. I will say, I wouldn't say everybody who has a V8 mustang hoons the car around all the time.

2015 is the first year of the current generation Mustang (S550).  I would pass on it.  Ford quality is not there, and the other things around it will give you issues, the big one being the HVAC.  See post by one of our esteemed members Mod_Man who has owned many Mustangs before and has his own shop.  Anyhow, read his assessment of the V6 Mustang below:

The initial years of this generation really suffered from HVAC issues!

The only Mustang I would buy is a 1966 Coupe with a 289 and four speed trans.

That is a great car, but aren't you limiting yourself a lot!

I have a '66 Mustang coupe, 289, 4 speed toploader I bought in 1975. It has been parked since 1979, most of that time in a garage. I planned on restoring it, but a serious injury prevents me from doing much on it. It has had some work done on it, but is partially disassembled (fenders off, trans out, interior out). It has all the parts, plus $2k+ of parts from CJ Pony Parts, Highway Classics, NPD, etc. and an auto parts store rebuilt engine. It needs to be reassembled and painted. Body is good with only a couple rust spots and no major dents.
What sounds like a fair price?

Loved those when I was in high school in the sixties but couldn't afford one at the time.

Ok car, but a ford at the end of the day. Why not look at an accord or camry, they got more space and reliability.

Because you may want a car that is actually fun to drive!
