Hi Scotty.
I have a 1999 Honda Civic with a D16Y8 engine. I recently changed the intake manifold gasket and when I start it the engine revs so high that I have to turn it off in fear that it will blow my engine. This is my daily and I don't have the money to take it to a shop. Any advice would help. Thank you

Maybe the engine wasn't reassembled properly.
