Oil in intake manifold on 2000 Ford Falcon

Gday, I have a 2000 Ford Falcon AUII Forte standard engine 4 speed auto, 163,000 Miles. Unfortunately it needs a special OBD scanner which I don't own yet. When I was replacing the spark plug cables, I notices that there was oil in the intake manifold, the inside walls has it streaked all over, and a small pool rests in the gap between the lower and upper half of the intake manifold. I bought the car almost 2 weeks ago, after it sat in the Australian sun for over 27 months. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

I'd replace the PCV valve as well. When those go bad, they can suck oil out of the sump and into the intake manifold. Had it happen on an old BMW and it would smokescreen. Replaced the assembly (BMW fancy crap they called the Crankcase Ventilation Valve) and it all went away.

Is that one one on the intake manifold, or on the valve cover? Would it be a good idea to replace both? Cheers mate.
