- When I sit in the car, nothing seems to be vibrating when the noise is there.
- Nothing seems broken/loose/leaking in the engine bay
- The car runs perfectly normal - I don't hear the noise when driving (at all speeds up to 90 mph)/accelerating/braking/turning on heat, AC, lights, or radio
- The duration of the problem noise is consistent - always the first 50 seconds
- The timing belt and water pump have been replaced in summer 2021.
At first I thought cold weather was the issue. However, temperatures have warmed up a little since then and I've noticed that the frequency of which the noise comes on has increased. Nowadays I hear it whenever the car has been parked for longer periods of time and the engine has cooled down completely, not just in the mornings.
I have read several posts on this forum regarding "whirring noise upon startup" but it seems like every situation is unique and don't match completely the problem that I have. Please help! And thank you in advance.
