Hi Scotty,
I have a 2010 Toyota Highlander with 200,000 mi. A few days ago, my turn signals stopped working. I changed the fuse and they worked fine for about a day. Now the fuse blew again. I checked the connections to the bulbs and they seem fine. My next step would probably be checking the cables; it appears to be an issue coming from the right side. Any suggestions? Should I take my vehicle to the mechanic

You need a new turn signal relay. AutoZone #LM449, $19.99.

why do you think the issue is on the right side?
