Hi Scotty,
I love your channel. My Honda CRV has 147,000 miles on it. It is an automatic. It is the best car I've ever owned. I bought it new. Where I live, we almost never need an air conditioner so I didn't care very much when mine stopped working, but I did research about it, and apparently it costs about $3,000 to get it fixed. On a recent video, you mentioned Honda CRV's of my car's generation and you said that the air conditioners were no good, so as long as the faulty air conditioner had been fixed, they would be a great car. Your comment made me wonder if a broken air conditioner can negatively effect other parts of the car. I don't want to sell the car or anything, and I just hope it keeps on running as well as it always has. Thank you so much. Jo
It wouldn't affect anything else if the AC compressor is not turning on aside from defrost not being as effective with no dehumidifying action. Repair cost depends on what's wrong with it.
