Honda Accord 2007, 2.4L, 4d, A1 code, 15% oil life

I performed an oil and filter change at (Castrol Full Synthetic, high mileage) 113,173 miles with help of a neighboring mechanic. Now, just after 1,721 miles, the dashboard shows A1 code with oil life showing at 15%, and the yellow spanner appears. Should I be concerned? Should I change the oil? When I check the oil level, it looks ok, and the color of the oil although looking darker, but not too dark. Was I supposed to reset some maintenance minder code, when I changed the oil earlier time? Please suggest.

You got it. You should reset the oil life reminder everytime you change the oil.

The car drives normally, AC working well, the temperature gauge is normal, and everything feels normal while driving.

I did an online search. It seems I should reset the maintenance minder for oil change at the dash, after changing oil. I will try this out. Basically, one needs to press the dash button for 15 seconds to get the alert code blinking. Next, press again for some seconds until the code disappears or the oil life shows at 100%. I will try this out tomorrow.
