Hi Scotty I’m 22 years old and a few yers ago I bought a Chevy blazer at the time I was unaware on things to look but got very lucky. I paid 1,700 for the truck in 2019, and have had no major issues it has 180,000 miles and it’s starting to have a rough/low idle when warm. The used car dealership I bought it from said they fixed it up and they did new timing belt, calipers, air filter, Transmission fluid change, stuff like that. I want your opinion if it’s worth a young mechanic time like myself who is still learning, I’ve done a lot since owning the car and have helped a it a lot, aside from the rough idle when the engine is warm it runs strong.( i changed the spark plugs too) It needs a break booster, distributer from what I can tell, possibly fuel injectors too, and has a very slight oil leak. So what is your opinion Scotty should I try to completely restore the truck or is the engine/transmission not worth saving?
