Heyy Scotty, huge fan. I wanted to know if you or anyone else can tell me reasons why my sister's v6 accord sounds like it cranks just fine, but it takes about 4 or 5 seconds for it to start up. Could it be an something with the ignition? I've heard that these accords have had issues with the ignition switch or something among the same lines. Maybe something fuel related (pump or injectors)? I do upkeep with her car like brakes and oil changes and what not. I changed her spark plugs and air filter about a couple months ago. I'm not sure if the timing belt has ever been changed or not. What direction should i go in to diagnose this? Do you think the innova 5160 rs will give me good enough data to see if i can point out the issues? Thanks

Have the battery tested. It could also be a poor connection in the starter or a problem with the charging system.

You probably don't get enough fuel to start up. Change the fuel filter and then pressure test the fuel pump.
