hey i managed to trip a code on my honda going up hill and i was so exited cause check engine light came on. here is the code P0730 i don’t know what it means but can someone help me.
Faulty shift control system. When did you last change the transmission fluid and filter? I would start with that.
transmission fluid was low 2 weeks ago so i added some. was i supposed to flush it and change filter?
The fluid and filter are supposed to be changed every approx. 40K miles, no flush. Hopefully, it's just dirty fluid.
any idea what transmission fluid i should use?
Look it up in your owner's manual.
It's a transmission code ad can be form a loose wire connection to the internal transmission issue. You need freeze frame data to find out what the exact issue is.
