I just bought my first car, a 2006 Honda Civic sedan 4dr.
I have a problem with the speedometer going completely dark (can’t see the speed, gas gage, and temp gage) and then coming on again when I turn my turning signal on. It’s as if the turning signal will knock something loose. Sometimes when i turn the turning signal off the speedometer will come back on and sometimes it stays dark.
Is this an electrical issue? Do I need to replace the front cluster? Or is it something else?
Please help!

Is the gauge cluster loose? check all the nuts and bolts.

It sounds like an electrical issue to me, but if you are planning to replace the cluster, my advice would be to get a used one from a junkyard.
