Hey Scotty/everyone:
I got a Honda Civic Type r (super fun) and I want to start changing my own oil instead of paying random people to do a mediocre job. I have ratchets, screwdrivers and funnels. So I assume that I will need a jack/stands and an oil filter removal tool. Is this true? Anyone have any recommendations for a jack/stands/oil filter removal tool (and anything else)?
Thanks

That's way too much work.

an oil filter removal tool.

Hey thanks. What are each of those tools called/what should I search for when looking to order them online?
The ramps are - well, they're just ramps. Careful though, if you have a front air dam real close to the ground you may have trouble getting the car up on them depending on how steep the incline is. The other tool is an oil filter wrench. There are many kinds, the one in the photo is a vise-grip which can give extra grip on the filter. That's for spin on type filters that have enough room to get that kind of tool onto them. (I don't know if your car has a a spin on fliter or a cartridge filter.)
You can get ramps with very shallow approach angles for low clearance vehicles. Otherwise you can just lay something down in front to raise up the car a bit.
