i got a used honda crv 2010 at about 167,000 miles , i did a oil change to mobil 5w 30 full synthetic oil , although whats recommended is 0w 20 but temperature in my country gets as high as 40 degree Celsius , i went on a trip and put about 1000 miles and it burnt the oil up to the last hole on the dip stick , i then put 0.5 litre of lucas oil stablizer and then topped it up with 10w 30 of full synthetic oil , i need the right oil advice
also my check engine light has come on and when i did a diagnoses it says code p0420 catalyst below threshold bank 1 , i also check the car maintenance history , the previous owner has changed the catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor in 2020 February i dont know which one was changed though and the car consumes more gas and i also see 18mpg on the dashboard, please advice , and i think there is some sort of delayed acceleration too

Do the oil change as soon as possible using recommended oil viscosity.
i have done the oil change with higher viscosity and it still burnt out almost everything, so that's why i went thicker cuz outside temperatures here are about 35 to 41 degree Celsius
