Hey Scotty do you think the odyssey is a reliable mini van. I know many people steer away from them due to the transmission issues I however had a very good experience with owning them. Just got rid of my 2002 odyssey last month after putting 365,000kms on it. Currently driving my 2004 odyssey with 315,000kms on it and I can feel the end is nearing for it as well however both of them lasted me for many years with no major issues. Should I buy another odyssey for my next car or do you think I just got lucky with the ones I owned.

Get a Sienna instead and you will be more happy with it.

You are not going to be happy with anything new. The older vehicles were much better built than the ones today.

The transmission is weak on those.
