Hey everyone, I’m looking at a 2017 Honda HR-V with 44k for 18 grand. I’ve noticed on this particular model as well as some others it says made in Mexico, so I was wondering if the Hondas made in Mexico are still reliable or should I avoid them? And if they’re reliable, would this be a decent buy?

We have a 2018. Seems fine. Typical dull, reliable Honda. The engine is from Japan.
The transmission has a recent "product update" and needs reprogramming. So make sure that is/was done.
Our daughter just bought a 2021 HRV. It's a bit quieter. Better seats. Smoother transmission and a little better handling.

I would not buy any vehicle made in Mexico.
I wouldn't buy any vehicles made in Italy, France or England either.
