Wanted some feedback about this common issue with manual bmw and nissans.

I have a middle u joint that wasnt easily movable. I am replacing all the joints after a yoke u joint clinking.

Can zip tying the yoke into the outputshaft fix the type cars that have slip yoke joints that clunk when shifting?

The old GTR has no u joints and a attached output shaft to driveshaft compared to cheaper skylines with shifting issues.

Driveshaft rebuild in the process hoping for the best.

no a zip tie won't fix anything. It's just a design flaw you have to live with and it's common on many many vehicles. The only thing that helps is keeping slipyokes lubricated, not hammering the throttle like a gorilla, and keeping drivetrain ans suspension components (bearings, spring mounts, ujoints, shocks etc.) balanced and in good repair.
