Hi Scotty! I’m 19 and just got a 2008 Honda Civic. It’s a four-cylinder five-speed manual transmission with 155,000 miles. I’m relatively inexperienced at driving standards, but this was a great deal so I went for it. What can I do to ensure that it lasts as long as it possibly can?

just learn to shift efficiently. The clutch will last longer.
And learn to listen to the sound of the engine, so you can match your revolutions. This will prolong the life of the synchros.
