Oil Light Is On

Hey guys, my brother has a 2000 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder that crapped out on him today. He was driving down the road and the car gave out. I got the alternator and battery checked out at AutoZone and both passed. My brother showed me a picture of the battery light and oil light on when it was going down. After checking those things I've noticed that when trying to start the car, the car itself would crank and would try to turn but would not start. The only light that comes on now is the oil light at the moment (I think the battery light was due to the positive terminal being loose.). He barely drives the car, his last oil change was around June according to him and my father checked the oil last week and everything was fine. Is there something else I am missing? No check engine light comes on and when I try to hook up my scan tool it fails to communicate with the car, even though it's communicated with it before. The last check engine light code I seen in the car was a P0401 code but that was about 2-3 weeks ago, would that have anything to do with this whole situation or is this a separate issue? I appreciate you guys for taking the time to look into this!

Oil pressure sensor/sending unit replacement, and check battery and alternator out put.

Just replaced the oil pressure switch, nothing. I did buy one of those output readers Scotty talked about on Amazon and all seem to be reading OK. We're going to get it towed tomorrow to a mechanic and see what they say I guess. Watch it be something stupid.
