How do I fix potential damage after driving through high water?

I drove my car through about 1.5 feet of water and I'm concerned that it may have damaged the powertrain. No water got into the cabin.  What should I do to repair potential damage?

What kind of car is it?

What symptoms is the car experiencing?

In your car, how high off the ground is the intake?

2021 Corolla but I don't now where the intake is. The only symptom it has is decreased fuel economy. I'm concerned water got into the engine or trans.  I recently changed my oil.

might be a wet air filter, doubt you sucked in a bunch of water

There are a few variables with that question.

How fast were you going, how long was the car exposed to those high water conditions?  Did the car sit in the water, or did you keep moving?

Without any more information, depending on the type of vehicle you should probably flush the front/rear/transaxle fluid where applicable.

Check the engine and transmission fluid to see if any water made it's way into those components through their respective pans.

At least you should flush the ATF to get rid of possible water.

I was in water at 15 mph for about 30 seconds.  I don't think I can check the trans fluid because it's sealed.
