Sometimes when using my horn, it sound normal and then the pitch will change. Not sure what caused it, but it’s intermittent. I’m assuming I need to replace it. I know it’s not the clock spring as everything else on my steering wheel works.
Where is the horn(s) located and how do I replace? I’m assuming that it’s very different from the last vehicle I had to replace my horn on, which was a 2005 Yukon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to do this without my husband having to step in, because he doesn’t what the issue is, even after hearing it himself.
try changing the relay first
The actual horn where the sound comes from is usually mounted on the front of vehicle, in front of the radiator. Sometimes you have to take off the bumper to access it.
