How often to get a wheel alignment
Alignment is not a regular maintenance item. There's no schedule.
You align it when you do suspension/steering work or your wheel hits something hard .
Dealership service managers will tell you you need an alignment, even if you don’t. Heck, they probably don’t even know if you need one or not, they will just recommend one.
If you notice uneven wear in the tires, that’s a good indicator of possibly needing an alignment. Another one is if your car significantly pulling to one side.
It may need aligned, even if you don't notice pulling. Unusual wear is number one.
It depends, are the roads you drive on full of potholes, or are they smooth? If they're full of potholes, you will need to get them aligned way more often than if you constantly drive on smooth roads. There's no set mileage when to get them aligned. Even hitting a curb can knock them out of alignment.
Is your vehicle showing any obvious symptoms that it needs an alignment?
