So I bought an 2013 Hyundai Accent GS in October with 97k and a 1 year warranty. As soon as it hit 100k I've been having one issue after another. One day the car wouldn't start and my boyfriend decided to jump it backwards and Im pretty sure it made the issue worse and possibly did something to my alternator. That comes later...so I took it to the people who sold it to me and they replaced the ECM. Afterward they tell me they warranty won't accept their repairs because their not certified. Also when my car was towed the guy drug it up the ramp and I know did something to my wheels...so my car also had a couple other codes since, a small evap leak multiple times, which I changed the gas cap. I also had a code related to the knock sensor, so this time I took it to the Hyundai dealership which they told me nothing was wrong and charged me $140 to 'diagnose' what I already knew. Then I got a large evap leak and chose to change the purge valve myself. 

Now my car is stalling while idling or parked. It usually starts back up without jumping but the tachometer won't move. From what I've read it's the crankshaft sensor...but who've I've spoken to says it's my alternator...i wanted a mechanic to look at it and he was nice enough to not charge me to diagnose. He had it all day and said it didn't stall once. He did say my ball joint needed replaced. 

It makes no sense. I don't know if he didn't drive it long enough but it literally stalls everytime I'm out, usually on my way home, sometimes right when I park in my driveway.

I got the crankshaft sensor myself and I'm going to change it. I also got the camshaft sensor and the knock sensor. I can plug in a few sensors. I can't do ball joints though lol just wanted your feedback thanks so much
