Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid 2018 with only 28000 km. Some time ago I noticed oil level was higher than normal. I went to the dealer and requested an oil analysis report. Finally it turns out oil was diluted with gasoline!! They changed oil and filter and also the high pressure fuel pump. One month later I checked the oil level and it’s higher than the max oil stick mark. Any idea? No metal residues were found on the oil analysis report. Thank you very much Scotty!
It could be that they overfilled it. But if oil dilution is an issue on those cars, which with a high pressure fuel pump it may very well be, then you probably have fuel mixing in with the oil again and elevating the fluid level.
How far above the F is it? It could be possible dealer overfilled.
