I'm Thinking about buying a hyundai ioniq blue, I've heard you say hyundai is garbage but I'm only looking to keep it for about a year or 2 before i move, my commute to work is 600miles a week and I spend over $600 on gas alone every month, because I drive a 2011 glk 350 4matic gas guzzler, moving isn't an option, so would this be a good idea or should I let my Mercedes(currently has100k) take on the 36,000 milage per year. Or would you recommend something else...... Besides a celica 😂😂
Like Inthrustwethrust said, I would go for a Toyota hybrid. If you are fine with the size, a Prius or a Corolla hybrid/Camry hybrid should go the trick. It is only 2 years and the advantage of getting the above cars is that they have a lot better resale value, along with the proven reliability of the Toyota hybrid powertrain (at least short term).
Find a low mileage Camry or VERY low mileage Camry hybrid instead. And have them inspected by a mechanic who specialises in hybrids before you touch any used hybrid car.
