Hey Scotty what are you’re thoughts on a 2008/2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8. It has always been my dream car to have as a kid and if I found one with low milage, good overall condition, and at a decent price as a Toy Car would it be a good idea to buy one
They are very fun cars to drive and the prices on those early SRT's have sunk down to the low to mid $20k's.
Build quality is not the best. They frequently have issues with trim pieces, weather stripping, etc. but the drive trains are pretty solid. If you could find one that passes a mechanic inspection, it may be worth it. Also, remember to have it inspected regardless of miles. A lot of guys track those cars and the miles aren't many, but are very hard. A good mechanic can tell you if the motor or transmission are hurt.
