Hi Scotty,
My relative has a 2021 VW Jetta with 80,000 miles on it, and is looking to buy a more reliable vehicle she doesn't need to worry about repairs on for 150,000-200,000+ miles. She drives 20k miles a year.
We looked at the 2026 CR-V gas only SUV, but with being almost $40,000, were looking at other options.
We came across a 2025 or 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe. I watched your review on the hybrid and were curious your thoughts on the non-hybrid version. I see the 2025 has a DCT and the 2026 has an 8-speed automatic transmission. Are either of these a good buy? (2025 is about 5k cheaper, but was more concerned about the transmission and engine longevity).

not on your life. Stay away from Korean cars.
