Runs great. Had a mechanic friend go over it bumper to bumper. It now has 99800 miles on it, gets 26.5 mpg on the highway, 12 in town. It shifts smoothly, But my question. Do the transaxle and engine need any extra care to make it last longer Or do I just to the normal maintenance and keep on cruising? Thanks Scotty. Love your advice!

if it makes you happy then it's a good purchase. I assume the mechanic checked all the consumable fluids and parts. Do the normal maintenance and enjoy. Be mindful of oxidation, aging plastics and and rubber, wire corrosion etc.
