  1. My question is, with only 173k miles and bone stock, I know these cars are becoming rare, wondering if you think it might be worth holding onto? Or with the car market not looking promising, maybe sell soon? Thank you Scotty.

It runs yeah? Why get rid of a car that still works?

Because they’re rare cars and I wanna know what might happen to the value in a few years.

Hmmmm... I'm trying my best to divine what the value will be, but difficult to see. Always in motion is the future.

The vast majority of cars are not worth more as time passes - they are not investments. Rarity does not necessarily equate to a higher price either, it depends on desirability in the marketplace. It can also take a long time (decades) for a vehicle to start going up in value.

You might get something of an indication if you check the depreciation rate on that car from 2005 to now versus more common Lexus models of the same vintage.
