Two different mechanics did a compression test and show 2 cylinders with low compression, but one mechanic tells me I need a new engine, while the other says I need a valve replacement job.  Not quite sure what to do.  Also, If I need a new engine, is there a difference  between rebuilt vs remanufactured?  Thanks in advance!

You also need a leak down test to determine if the rings or the valves.  Rebuilt generally means they rebuild your engine.  Re-manufactured generally means they get a rebuilt engine from a specialty house and just install it.
